Happy New Year everyone!! We’re beyond excited to let the world know that the next IGNITE album is officially recorded. The new album will be coming out in 2026, with mixing and mastering happening soon. For the first time in over 20 years we’re free agents with no label obligations, so stay tuned for which label will be releasing the album in your country. There will be plenty of colored vinyl available worldwide. The album was tracked and produced with Cameron Webb, who has been part of the IGNITE team for over 20 years. What an incredible night at the @sixtymileseast exhibit in Riverside, California. So many important moments from the Southern California punk, hardcore and ska scenes happened at venues like the Barn on the UC Riverside campus, Showcase Theater in Corona and also at other amazing venues like Cheap Guy Music and Spanky’s as well. It was a cool trip down memory lane tonight and was awesome seeing so many friends from our past, tons of people involved with concert promotion and so many guys from so many bands were there tonite. On our short drive from Vilnius to Brussels we decided to make a stop in Berlin at our favorite Burger joint in Europe. We usually go to the outdoor OG one, but there was rain in the forecast, so we deviated from our normal routine and went to one of the other shops. Spent the day at Maple Studios here in Orange County, just the band in the room working through new ideas. No producer yet—just raw takes and fresh energy. This part of the process always gets us hyped. Grateful we get to do this—write music we’re super passionate about and eventually take it out into the world to share with you all. Let’s go!

Previously released on vinyl only on its original release date in 2000 on TVT Records, A Place Called Home will finally be available on wax again on March 21st, 2025. Formed in Orange County in 1993, Ignite’s sound is hard to pin down. Their music contains elements of punk, hardcore, alternative, and even heavy metal. Their 30-year career has produced several classic albums with A Place Called Home being their commercial breakthrough album, combining the spirit and muscle of hardcore and the catchy tunes of west coast punk rock. Sixteen songs loaded with great hooks, compelling, socially conscious lyrics, and the heaviness that hard music fans love. The band’s bassist and founding member Brett Rasmussen comments the reissue: ”When I found out that the guys at Svart Records were licensing A Place Called Home for a vinyl reissue I was beyond stoked. This album will finally be available again, after being out of press for so long, and this time there will be colored vinyl! I’m really looking forward to spinning this reissue and I’m happy that it will be available for our fans to enjoy again on a turntable.” The authorised Svart Records repress of this modern genre-defining classic contains three bonus tracks previously only available on the European CD version of the album and comes with an insert. A Place Called Home is out on March 21st, 2025.

Last night was something special. The show was originally set for The Haven in Pomona, but a last-minute venue change took us to a VFW hall in Rancho Cucamonga—and it felt like stepping back into the late ‘90s. It brought back memories of playing VFWs across New Jersey, Long Island, and the East Coast, and the energy in the room was incredible. **Festival Announcement** @tells_bells_festival We are celebrating 20 years of hardcore and punk rock! This year’s lineup features scene giants who will make this anniversary unforgettable. From the USA, @agnosticfrontnyc , the hardcore pioneers from New York City, will bring their iconic sound that has defined the scene since the 80s. Also joining are @wojofficial from Detroit, known for their powerful blend of metal and hardcore, and @banecentral , the influential hardcore veterans from Massachusetts with their passionate, socially charged songs. Melodic hardcore comes courtesy of California’s @igniteband , delivering anthemic sound with emotional force, while @zebraheadofficial will light up the stage with their energetic mix of punk rock and rap. From Boston, the streetdogs will bring honest, working-class punk rock straight to the crowd, while Australia’s @clownsband promise wild surprises with their raw blend of punk, hardcore, and psychedelic influences. Canada will also be represented by @gobband masters of catchy 90s pop-punk. Another highlight from the USA is @batteryhardcore from Washington, D.C., bringing back the powerful hardcore sounds of the 90s. Adding to the lineup are @theironroses from Pennsylvania, blending modern punk rock with strong, meaningful messages, and Brooklyn’s @makewarmusic , who pair melancholic lyrics with soaring, melodic punk anthems.
